Notice Of Cancellation Of Regular Election By The Designated Election Official For The Upper Thompson Sanitation District

Notice Is Hereby Given by the Upper Thompson Sanitation District, Larimer County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third (63rd) day before the election there were not more candidates for Director than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 6, 2025, is hereby cancelled.

To Whom It May Concern, and particularly to the electors of the Upper Thompson Sanitation District of Larimer County, Colorado.

Notice Is Hereby Given that a regular election will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. At that time, three (3) directors will be elected to serve a four-year term and one (1) director will be elected to serve a two-year term.

Upper Thompson Sanitation District Board Vacancy

The Upper Thompson Sanitation District has a vacant position on the Board of Directors and is seeking eligible electors to apply.  

The term of office for this position will end on May 6, 2025. This seat will be up for election during the District's election on the same date.

On a nearly perfect fall morning, I stood in an empty field looking west at the towering mountains that surround Estes Park. My companions and tour guides, Chris and Matt are excitedly telling me about the new wastewater treatment facility that will be filling this open space. The nine-acre parcel located on the east end of Estes Park, and just across the street from Upper Thompson Sanitation’s existing wastewater treatment facility is prime creek side property, that soon will be filled with construction equipment and the sounds of forward progress.

Notice Concerning Proposed Budget Of Upper Thompson Sanitation District

Notice Is Hereby Given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Directors of Upper Thompson Sanitation District for the ensuing year of 2025; that a copy of such proposed budget has been filed in the office of the District at 2196 Mall Road, Estes Park, Colorado, where the same is open for public inspection; and that such proposed budget will be considered at a public hearing which will be held during the Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the District, at 2196 Mall Road, Estes Park, Colorado, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.

Notice of Meeting for Discussion and Action to Set Rates and Fees Upper Thompson Sanitation District

Notice is Hereby Given pursuant to Section 32-1-1001(2)(a), C.R.S., to the customers of the Upper Thompson Sanitation District (“District”) and all other interested persons that the Board of Directors of the District shall discuss and may take action to set the rate structure for metered customers, metered and non-metered service rates, the system development fee, and other rates and fees at an open public meeting to be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the office of the District located at 2196 Mall Road, Estes Park, Colorado 80517.
